Is Your Business Plan Working Against You?

If your business is still very young, you may be looking for investors and having trouble finding interested parties. If this is the case, the first thing you should do is take a second look at your business plan. There are a few general rules to go by which, if not being followed, could be curbing interest. It may have to do with the way it’s presented. Is it organized? Is the language and style appropriate? Keep it simple, succinct and focus on showing them that you know what you’re doing and getting onboard is a solid investment, rather than simply doing you a favor. Investors don’t generally don’t make decisions based on personality or take financial risks on a whim. In fact, a properly presented appeal for support should come across as not being a risk at all.
