U.S. Small Businesses Borrowed More In November

Small business borrowing rose in November compared to last year. This gives hope to continued economic growth for the upcoming year. There were only 20 working days in November this year, making it the highest per-day borrowing rate for 2013. Based on past behaviors, small business usually take out loans to purchase new tools and equipment, which can be an early sign of increased hiring ahead.
